INDER-JEET GUJRAL
has an outstanding track record as an entrepreneur in the healthcare and Internet markets. He currently is CEO and President of Redeon, Inc., a company he founded in late 1998, which is involved in microchip based drug delivery systems. Prior to his founding of Redeon, he served as Executive Vice President of Synetic, Inc., and President and COO of Avicenna Systems Corporation - a company building a national web-based clinical commerce system - which he founded in 1994 and sold to Synetic in 1996.
In addition to Redeon and Avicenna Systems Corporation, Mr. Gujral founded Lancet Technology, Inc. and served as its President from 1988 to 1994. Lancet Technology develops departmental database systems for emergency room, trauma- and transplant centers and other emergency medical markets.
Prior to his entrepreneurial activities, Mr. Gujral worked as a Consultant with Bain & Company and as a System Consultant and Software Engineer for Softech, Inc. Mr. Gujral received BS and MS degrees in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology in New Delhi, India, an MS in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (Department of Mathematics) as well as an MBA from Stanford University.
