Smoodoos is Germany's first secure online community for kids aged 8 - 15 years.

Children get a code hidden in the armpit of a smoodoo soft toy. At the same time this soft toy resembles an avatar for chatting and playing on the smoodoo website from 6.00 am to 10.00pm. Due to a modern and broad safety system adults can not stay at the community nor contact the kids private.

The smoodoo soft toy joins both real and virtual world.

Smoodoos has been founded in 2006 by Saskia and Justus Schneider. They were inspired by internet activities of their three kids. Before planning smoodoos Justus Schneider was global head of Mercedes Benz passenger car marketing. Smoodoo designer Janina Fey and the web designer Eric Singhartinger belong to the founding partners as well.
