Sidec was founded in 2000 as a spin-out from the Karolinska Institute based on the research of Prof. Ulf Skoglund. After refinement of the technology and procedures through various customer projects the company has entered the full commercial phase in 2006. With its proprietary Protein Tomography™ technology Sidec’s mission is to radically increase the quality of drug discovery and development by providing crucial structural information of proteins in their natural environment.
