KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop hermetic packages for optical sub assemblies and Integrated Circuits.
Identifies and set up manufacturing processes.
Work as a member of a multi- disciplinary team of design and production engineers to ensure that products designed meet performance specs, schedule commitments, and yield, cost, and quality targets.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

Able to design for manufacturability & quality
In depth knowledge of microsystem manufacturing processes and technologies (wire bonding, die bonding, soldering and gluing)
Familiar with REM, yield, aging and stress analysis
Understanding of welding processes
Knowledge about Lithography, plasma, sputter, electro plating processes are desired
B.S. M.S. or Diploma in electrical engineering, Chemistry or Physics required
