Then we propose the following procedure:

1. Initial contact: A letter or e-mail with a business plan sent to our office in Hamburg or Munich is sufficient.

2. Initial meeting with the management team: If there is mutual interest, Earlybird and your management team will meet in person to discuss the business plan in detail.

3. Research: Assisted by its network of experts, Earlybird will collect additional information from customers and other market players to investigate the concept and the fundamental feasibility of the venture. Earlybird will also obtain personal and business references.

4. Preliminary decision: Earlybird will reach its own preliminary conclusion about the product or service and its marketing strategy and will try to gain a clear understanding of the business dynamics.

5. Sparring phase: In a further meeting, Earlybird will discuss its findings, the business dynamics and strategy with your management team.

6. Final business plan: Once a consensus emerges, the business plan is refined and supplemented.

7. Decision: The final business plan is submitted to Earlybird and the Investment Advisory Board for evaluation. Once a unanimous decision in favor of an investment is reached, a contact person is appointed who, jointly with the management team, draws up a financing plan and handles the legal aspects. A team of a partner and an investment manager will act as the liaison between Earlybird and the management team throughout our partnership.
